Jody McGarry-Liddell

Jody McGarry-Liddell is the Coordinator, Student Services in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Her role involves working closely with other departments to improve service delivery for our students within the faculty. She also works closely with faculty, tutors, academic experts, and staff to ensure that students have the educational experience they need to pursue their personal learning goals.

Jody started with Athabasca University in 1998 as a learning facilitator within the School of Business for 8 years before moving to the Office of the Registrar as Coordinator, Registration Services. She joined the School of Computing and Information Systems department as the Administrative and Production Coordinator in 2008 and transitioned into her current position in 2014.

Her journey as an Athabasca student began in 1998 in the Bachelor of Administration program and from there, she continued to complete two graduate degrees with Athabasca University.

Outside of completing courses, Jody volunteers as a board member on the EPC School Council and Fundraising Committee, Canadian Parents for French (Athabasca Chapter), and for Words Work Literacy Society which offers community adult learning programs.

She enjoys gardening, camping, and hiking with her husband and two boys.
