As long as I can remember, I have had a deep interest in mathematical ideas, including how its underlying structures affect our lives from microcosm to macrocosm. This fascination with the practical and the abstract conceptualizations of a complex, enigmatic academic discipline has ultimately burgeoned into a life-long journey of learning and discovery .... and teaching.

  • Algebra (from the solving of equations to the foundations of modern-day methods of encryption)
  • Topology (an abstraction of Euclidean geometry)
  • Differential Geometry (the study of motion on curved surfaces)
