Manitoba RN Prescribing

The Manitoba RN Prescribing online course was developed to prepare registered nurse authorized prescribers, RN(AP)s, to work in jurisdictions where they make and communicate a diagnosis, prescribe certain medications and vaccines, fit certain medical devices, and order specific diagnostic or screening tests.

Cost

  • Module 1: $300 + 5% GST ($15) = $315 (non-refundable)
  • Module 2: $600 + 5% GST ($30) = $630 (non-refundable)

Course goals

The Manitoba RN(AP) Prescribing course builds on basic foundational knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and patient assessment acquired as a registered nurse.

Successful completion of the course prepares RNs to meet CRNM’s requirements for prescribing drugs and ordering diagnostic tests.

A certificate of completion is awarded when you have successfully completed the course exams, and assignments for assignments for both course modules.
