Requesting research assistance

Reference librarians are available to provide assistance with research and instruction in the use of the library's resources.

Support for learners

Reference librarians will assist learners with understanding the research process, including how to develop search strategies, identify relevant resources, and provide assistance with citing and referencing.


Support for faculty and tutors

Reference librarians are available to support faculty and tutors. These services include:

  • Assistance in accessing and locating research materials and scholarly resources
  • Support in identifying AU Library and other information resources for inclusion in courses
  • Collaboration in developing resources such as tutorials and library assignments to help build the information seeking, research and critical thinking skills of AU students.

The library is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Mountain Time), Monday - Friday.
